Please remember that the Friends have a range of sponsorship forms if you are thinking of taking part in an event and are always happy to give out advice about fundraising. We would also be more than happy to add you to our growing band.
There are some people who for whatever reason simply cannot help us raise funds in the normal way. So we have introduced the standing order scheme. We are looking for a small regular amount paid monthly by standing order from your bank account to ours. A small amount from £3 upwards that one will hardly notice or miss. However lots of small payments all added together will raise much needed funds for Many Tears. To join simply e-mail Glenda at glenda.fry@btinternet.com for a standing order form.
Thanks to a suggestion from Julie, we are hoping to make
a bit of cash from all the foreign currency that most of us bring back after
our holidays. We can accept any notes but are limited with coin. The only
coin we can accept is euros. Simply mail to:

No amount is too small, we will collect it all and change to sterling when
we have enough of a particular currency. Thank you.
Just a quick reminder, but I hope lots of you will join in with this in 2008. Remember to save your 20p pieces for the Christmas dogs. For more details please look on the How you can Help Page.

Boxers are of German origin. They were used for hunting
large game, bull baiting and as guard dogs. They are a medium sized breed
with an impressive well muscled athletic body. They are well known for the
expressive faces they can make. They have short, smooth coats and colours
include:- red, fawn and brindle with white markings on the face, chest and
paws. They are playful, affectionate, loyal, high energy dogs who can be
very stubborn at times. However they are excellent with children and make
great family pets. There are usually a couple at Many Tears looking for
homes.
