Lily's Lotto is now up and running. We hope eventually to have 500 names and when we reach that number each prize draw will have prizes of:
1 prize of £250
2 prizes of £100
5 prizes of £50
4 prizes of £25
We started with 102 names but need more to take us up to 500. If you are interested in joining, you can download an application form and the Lotto rules or you can email Lynn and Lily at lynn@bizooka.co.uk and they will mail you one. The first two draws will have prizes of:
1 prize of £100
1 prize of £50
2 prizes of £25
Remember there will be two prize draws a year, the first being on 4th December 2007 and the second on 4th July 2008.
So how does it work? It costs £1 per month which has to be paid annually either by cheque or postal order. As already said there will be two draws a year, in December and July. The more names we have entered the higher the prize money will be. A percentage of the total goes in prizes and the rest goes to Many Tears. As a slight twist you will be entered under your dog's name instead of being allocated a number. In the event of two entries with the same name, surnames will be used. Don't panic if you haven't got a dog but would like to enter. Let me just tell you that another Lotto I was involved in had 3 cats and a duck entered. If you haven't got a duck, why not just think what you would call a dog if you had one and go for it. It will only cost you £1 a month (£12 paid once annually). You might win a prize but everyone entered will be helping Many Tears.
We needed to know that we had 100 names entered by 30 June 2007 for us to proceed with the Lotto. We have had a wonderful 102 entries, although, in the long term, we are aiming for 500 names. This will mean higher prize money and more funds raised for Many Tears. So, if you haven't already joined, please consider doing so. You can apply at any time and all names entered into the Lotto at the time of each draw will be eligible to win a prize. Thank you to all those already entered and for those still thinking about it, please enter as we need your support in this to be able to help Many Tears.

To view the Application Form and Rules (both are PDF files) you will need a copy of Adobe Reader on your computer. If you do not have this software, it can be downloaded, for free, by following this Link. When you click on the Application Form or Rules link, most modern browsers should display the file in a browser window, from where it can be printed. If your browser only displays a blank page, or if you would prefer to download the files to your computer, right-click on the links and choose "Save Target As..." (Windows users) or "Download Linked File" (Mac OS users).
As you can see from the picture, I have been working very hard on this Lotto. I am hearing all the doggie names and try to imagine what you all look like. As I am blind I have a very good imagination, so you are all looking real good to me. I was not at Many Tears for very long before my new Mum, Lynn, adopted me but some are there for months, so please help me to raise lots of money on this Lotto so that all the dogs at Many Tears can have lots of Pig's Ears and other goodies.
Please download that form now and mail back to me as soon as you can.
Thanks
Lily
